These days we’re constantly being inundated with all kinds of information about the latest COVID-19 updates, which are essential. However, I think it’s important to take a break from all the negativity by finding different ways to keep your mind occupied.

I’m obsessed with podcasts! I just cannot get enough of them. Whether I’m cooking or washing the dishes, you’ll find me listening to one of my audio shows. I feel like I’m always gaining knowledge about topics that are of interest to me. Here’s a list of some of my favourite podcasts.


We all know that everything that the Incomparable Miss Oprah Winfrey touches turns to gold! Hence my love of Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations. Every week, Oprah sits down with world-renowned spiritual leaders, number one selling authors, health and wellness experts and various other thought leaders. I cannot go through one week without getting my daily dose of Super Soul Conversations. This podcast will change your life.

While we’re still on the topic of spirituality, check out the Hay House Meditation Podcast. The app features different spiritual leaders who guide you through meditations to help you relax and rejuvenate.


Some may argue that our parents didn’t need parenting books and podcasts to raise us, so why should we bother? The truth is that life is so much more complicated than it used to be. The world has evolved, and we can’t use the same parenting methods that our parents used. I’m always looking for ways to improve the way that I parent and The Parenting Beyond Discipline Podcast was God sent. Parenting expert, Erin Royer, dives into topics such as emotional intelligence, self-esteem, co-parenting and discipline. I love the way she always gives you practical examples of how you can improve the way that you relate to your kids.


I listen to a lot of business podcasts, but I always find it easier to relate to the topics that are covered in the Goal Digger Podcast. Jenna Kutcher is a boss babe who has extensive business knowledge, especially for creative mamas. Week after week, she brings you social media strategies, productivity tips and inspirational stories that help women to design their dream careers.

Health and Wellness

The Goop Podcast was the very first podcast that I ever listened to. I was immediately hooked after listening to one episode. The guest for their inaugural episode was the incredible, Oprah Winfrey! That should give you an idea of the calibre of their weekly guests. The Goop Podcast, which was founded by retired A-list actress, Gywneth Paltrow, aims to shift paradigms and start new conversations. The reason that I love this podcast is that they pretty much cover everything that piques my interest. Whether they are discussing modern parenting, superfoods, sex or mental health, you are almost guaranteed to learn something new every time.
