There’s no doubt that visuals are an essential part of your content creation process if you’re content creator or blogger. The truth is, nowadays you don’t have to spend hours behind the camera, taking copious amounts of photographs. There are plenty of apps and websites that have done all the work for you.

If you’ve ever wondered where you can get quality images for free, don’t worry, I’ve got you! I’ve put together a list of 5 places to find free stock images.

This is the holy grail of stock image sources! Unsplash offers a collection of hundreds of thousands of high res images from various photographers. They add new photos daily, so you are truly spoilt for choice here. Most importantly, their images have a Creative Commons Zero license, which means you may use them as you please without requiring the author’s consent.

Pixabay is another website that offers a wide range of high res images. All you have to do is type in the kind of image that you are looking for in the search bar, and that will open the doors to a world filled with beautiful pictures and videos that are copyright free!

Here’s another favourite. Pexels also offers a wide range of copyright-free images for bloggers, content creators or anyone looking for free stock images. They also offer a wide range of videos that you can use to enhance your content.

This website is a little different from the others that I’ve mentioned on this list. If you’re looking for images that are not as curated as on Pixababy on Unsplash, then you’ll love Morguefile. This is where you’ll find over 400 000 pictures of random people doing everyday things or random objects.

The apps of all apps! CANVA essentially helps you create professional-looking graphics on the go. It’s a comprehensive design tool you can use to design everything from creative IG stories, Facebook banners, worksheets and Pinterest banners. The app also offers a wide range of free stock images, however, not all of them are free.

Although there are many, those are the best 5 places where you can find free stock images. Let me know if you can think of other good options in the comments below.
